FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much do Macau saunas cost?
Entry tiers start at MOP 1,199; mid-range 1,500–2,500; premium rooms from 2,900 up. The service charge is separate (included / 10% / 5% + 5%) and listed per venue.
Is the price-list number the final price?
Usually not. Only venues marked “included” charge the listed price; those marked 10% or 5% + 5% add more. Ask for the total bill, not just the price.
Can I go alone?
Absolutely — most guests come alone. The flow doesn't depend on group size; only room choice differs.
Do I need a reservation?
Usually not on weekdays, but for Friday, Saturday and peak hours it's worth booking ahead — you skip the queue and get better room choice. Booked through this site, pickup is free.
Can I stay overnight?
Most venues allow it; The Excellent, Clube Rio and Man Hao do not. Whether overnight costs extra and the latest check-out time vary by venue — ask before you set off.
What should I bring?
Your passport (original) and cash in MOP. Towels, slippers, toiletries and lockers are all provided free by the venue.
Do I tip?
Tipping isn't a big part of Macau culture and isn't required. Give 50–200 if you want to; not tipping is perfectly normal.
How often is the data updated?
Prices and hours are checked weekly (last check: 2026-10-16). Actual prices are whatever the venue quotes that night; licensing can be verified on the Macao Government Tourism Office list.
